Call for artists for our second show of the year...
Exciting New Opportunity for Artists to Exhibit
At the fantastic
28th August – 17th September 2010
The exhibition is open to all art forms with no overall theme but it must be taken into consideration that work will be left outside in the park for a total of 4 weeks and durability and safety must be considered (we will consider works that are intended to decay/change during the exhibition period). All artists must be able to provide proof of existing public liability insurance. (This can be obtained through a subscription to Artist Newsletter for £30 a year).
All works/ideas will be considered but we are particularly interested in works that respond to or interact with the country park setting in some way. Feel free to email us to discuss artworks/ideas before submitting if unsure of suitability. We may select early submissions for inclusion for site specific/ ambitious ideas, which may require more time to make/install. There is a charge of £10 for a submission of upto 3 artworks. No commission will be taken on any sales.
There will be a prize of £500 for best in show as voted by park visitors.
Each submission must contain:
Your artist CV
A brief description of the work submitted/proposed
A maximum of 6 images
A submission fee of £10 per 3 works/ideas submitted.
